The Strand – New York City, NY

My dear dear dear bookstagram bff, The Books Buzz, told me I needed to go to The Strand, that leaving New York without going there would be out of the question, and boy was she right.

This is the best bookstore I’ve ever been into, including my long time fave out in Pasadena, Vroman’s.

There was just SO MUCH. The books. The bookish accessories. The vibes. The action.

Gah, reliving it makes me want to cry.

They had every possible section of literature you could imagine, and rows and rows and aisle and aisles of books. The only downside was how packed it was, and I highly anticipate that’s the case no matter the time of day you go.

I never wanted to leave but my mom got all grumpy because her legs weren’t working, so I wasn’t allowed to stay for long, but I think I got the full effect anyway, and it was wonderful.
