March 21st I got…

A signed copy of Paper Towns by John Green, which, if you follow my blog–a lot of you do (!!!)–you know he’s my favorite author of all times, and very year he participates in Project for Awesome, a project aimed at decreasing world suck.

“During Project for Awesome, thousands of people post videos about and advocating for charities that decrease the overall level of world suck. As a community, we promote these videos and raise money for the charities.”

This year they raised… (drum roll please)… $2,149,523 toward decreasing world suck, and I’m proud to say I donated $200 of that.

Basically, the videos never stop for, like, five days straight. They all take shifts, and you get to watch them ramble on and attempt to fill the time with the oddness that populates their brains. And it happens every December, so be sure to join in on the fun this year.

Major congratulations from The Unadulterated Thinkings!
