I am in love with this box. I have about six book crate subscriptions, and this is far and away THE best one.
In each Cozy Reader Club box, you’ll discover:
- a recently released hardcover women’s fiction novel
- artisan coffee, tea or hot chocolate
- beautiful handmade items
- gourmet handcrafted treats
In the August box we got:
- Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarity
Six responsible adults. Three cute kids. One small dog. It’s just a normal weekend. What could possibly go wrong?
In Truly Madly Guilty, Liane Moriarty turns her unique, razor-sharp eye towards three seemingly happy families.
Sam and Clementine have a wonderful, albeit, busy life: they have two little girls, Sam has just started a new dream job and Clementine, a cellist, is busy preparing for the audition of a lifetime. If there’s anything they can count on, it’s each other.
Clementine and Erika are each other’s oldest friends. A single look between them can convey an entire conversation. But theirs is a complicated relationship, so when Erika mentions a last minute invitation to a barbecue with her neighbors, Tiffany and Vid, Clementine and Sam don’t hesitate. Having Tiffany and Vid’s larger than life personalities there will be a welcome respite.
Two months later, it won’t stop raining, and Clementine and Sam can’t stop asking themselves the question: What if we hadn’t gone?
In Truly Madly Guilty, Liane Moriarty takes on the foundations our lives: marriage, sex, parenthood, and friendship. She shows how guilt can expose the fault lines in the most seemingly strong relationships, how what we don’t say can be more powerful than what we do, and how sometimes it is the most innocent of moments that can do the greatest harm.
- ONA Cookies (maple pecan and brownie)
I didn’t LOVE the cookies, because they’re not actually cookies, and also because I don’t eat sugar. But they’re definitely a great treat for non-sugar eaters like myself. There isn’t an obscene amount of sugar in them and they still have that little twinge of sweetness you need. I tend to stay away from foods that have more sugar than protein, and while these had more sugar, it was only like four grams more. Six grams in all.
The cookies are completely organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, the works.

I did like the maple pecan better.
- A 100% silk scarf
Gorgeous, gorgeous coloring. Looks good on, isn’t that awkwardly long length where you’re either having to loop it around your neck twice and suffocate, or loop it around once and maybe still be able to use it as a fucking jump rope.
I will definitely wear it and/or, I will use it for all of my bookstagramming because it is STUNNING.

- Organic Black Ceylon Iced Tea from Tracy Stern – Tea & Co.
I haven’t tried any yet, but it does smell amazing, and I love the tin. It’s the type of tin you can use again and again just to make your bookstagrams look that much more pretentious. I think it smells a bit like chai, which I love and can’t wait to brew some up.
AMAZING box this month, I can’t wait to read the book–it’s been shortlisted to my TBR pile because I wanna review it ASAP. I’m obsessed with the cover also, how pretty is it? Love that sparkly pearl color.
I definitely recommend this box to ALL of my followers. Anybody who loves wine, gourmet foods and teas, and a good women’s fiction novel… this box is for you.
